Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Corona Bal Kalyan Yojana 2021 – Aid to Children Orphaned / Women Widow by COVID-19

Rajasthan government has launched Mukhyamantri Corona Bal Kalyan Yojana 2021 on 13 June 2021. In this राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री कोरोना बाल कल्याण योजना, the state govt. will provide Rs. 1 lakh immediately along with Rs. 2500 per month to COVID-19 orphans. In this article, we will tell you about the complete details including assistance amount to widow women, orphan children who suffered the most due to Coronavirus outbreak.

Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Corona Bal Kalyan Yojana 2021

As we all know that Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has taken millions of lives in the world. The death toll in Rajasthan is also very high which is comparable to any other state in India. So just like other states, Rajasthan govt. has announced a new Mukhyamantri Corona Bal Kalyan Yojana to help severely affected families who had lost their near and dear ones. In this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance to children orphaned by COVID and the women who lost their husbands to the infection.

Assistance For Children Orphaned by COVID-19

One lakh rupees will be provided by the government to orphan children whose parents have died in Corona. Along with this, till the age of 18 years, the government will be given an assistance amount of 2500 rupees every month to those children. After attaining the age of 18 years, financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh will be given to those children in one lump sum. The government will provide free education till 12th through residential schools or hostels.

The girl students studying in the college will be given priority admission in the hostels run by the government, while the students studying in the college will be given the benefit of Ambedkar DBT voucher scheme for residential facility. Also, the youth who are unemployed, they will be given priority in giving unemployment allowance under the Chief Minister Yuva Sambal Yojana. Children whose parents died from the disease would be given the following assistance under Mukhyamantri Corona Bal Kalyan Yojana:-

  • Immediate Grant of Rs. 1 lakh
  • Rs. 2500 per month till the children attains the age of 18 years.
  • Consolidated amount of Rs. 5 lakh (one time assistance) on completion of 18 years of age.
  • Girls who are studying in colleges will get admissions in government hostels.
  • College students will be able to get benefit of DBT Voucher Scheme.

Assistance to Widow Women in Mukhyamantri Corona Bal Kalyan Yojana

There is a provision of assistance in this scheme for the women whose husband died due to corona and she became widow. Under this, a lump sum amount of one lakh rupees will be provided to the widow woman immediately. Along with this, a monthly pension of 1500 rupees will be given. This pension will be given to widows of all ages. If these widows have children, then a separate Rs 1000 per month will be given for them and Rs 2000 will be given annually to buy school books and clothes. In short, we can describe assistance to widow women as mentioned here:-

  • Rs. 1 lakh as immediate grant
  • Rs. 1500 per month as widow pension would be given acceptance.
  • For children of widow women, Rs. 1,000 per month as financial aid.
  • To purchase school dress and textbooks, Rs. 2000 per annum.

Before Rajasthan, several states had announced financial aid and free education for children who had lost their parents to the pandemic. Some of these states include Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, etc.

Recently, the central government also launched the PM CARES for Children scheme, under which they will provide financial aid to students who lost their parents to the pandemic, and also free education and books so that their studies are not interrupted.
