STEP 5: Here applicants can select either Total Roof Top Area or Solar Panel Capacity You Want to Install or Your Budget. Then select state and consumer category and what is your average electricity cost and then click at “Calculate” button to calculate price of solar rooftop installation.

  • Electricity from solar panels will be available for 25 years and the cost of its installation will be paid in 5-6 years. After this, the benefit of electricity from solar will be available free of cost for the next 19-20 years.
  • 1kw solar power requires 10 square meters of space.
  • 40 percent subsidy on solar plants up to 3 kW and 20 percent subsidy up to 10 kW after 3kw will be given by the central government.

  • Electricity from solar panels will be available for 25 years and the cost of its installation will be paid in 5-6 years. After this, the benefit of electricity from solar will be available free of cost for the next 19-20 years.
  • For setting up of solar plants up to 500 kW, a subsidy of 20 percent will be given by the central government.
  • Install solar plant yourself or get it installed on RESCO model (investment will be done by the developer instead of you).
  • 1kw solar power requires 10 square meters of space.
