Ayroor Cherukolppuzha Hindu Matha Convention is the
largest spiritual gathering of Hindus in Kerala. This convention is being held
during February every year. The venue of the convention is the sandy bed of holy
river Pampa at Cheruklppuzha in Koipuram Police Station Limit. The convention
lasts for a period of one week. It include religion discourses of well known
scholars and saints of Hindu religion. The convention founded by Saint. Pada
Paramahamsa, one of the eminent deciles of his holiness Parama Battaraka
Vidhyadhiraja Chattampi Swamikal in 1913, has by and large assumed dynamism and
grown into a time honored religion cum cultural enterprise of Kerala.
idhyadhiraja Chattampi Swamikal, who was a scholar, an apostal of the ancient
cultural heritage of India, a noble saint, philosopher, a poet, a critic, a
musician and a researcher. He waged relentless war against casteism,
untouchability and other social evils prevailed in Hindu society
